The Danner Free Spirit boot was first released back in 1988. They have been given a modern makeover this season whilst still maintaining their key features. Made from a combination of suede and textile, then lined with waterproof GORE-TEX material and a removable OrthoLite footbed for premium cushioning with every step, keeps you grounded on any terrain.

Charles Danner opened the doors of Danner Shoe Mfg. Company in the old logging town of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, with twelve employees to build affordable, handcrafted work boots. In the 1960’s they recognised the cultural shift towards activities in the outdoors like hiking, backpacking and mountain climbing becoming America’s only domestic manufacturer of walking boots.
